Client Testimony: Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Keva White and his Understanding the Culture of Urban Poverty workshop. Mr. White facilitated this workshop for 58 of our staff last week. Our staff rated Mr. White and his workshop as excellent, and many staff are still approaching me to share how powerful they found Mr. White and this workshop. Mr. White is an engaging speaker and infused humor appropriately throughout the workshop. He is clearly a subject matter expert on the topic of urban poverty. Mr. White also shared his personal life experience and story which greatly enriched our participants’ experience and understanding of the material. The workshop he designed contains engaging lecture, multimedia content, interactive activities, and was extremely relevant to the work of our organization. After the workshop, our high school intern informed me that she was inspired by Mr. White to become a social worker. Furthermore, Mr. White was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive and professional in our correspondence prior to and after the workshop. I recommend Mr. White as an experienced, skilled, and engaging facilitator. His excellent workshop on the topic of urban poverty will enhance the work of any organization serving impoverished individuals and families.
