This training provides participants with concrete definitions, concepts, and theories to better understand the history of systemic racism and injustice in our society. More specifically, during this training, a comprehensive overview of five tenets embedded in Critical Race Theory will be used as the foundation for increasing awareness and enhancing knowledge around privilege and oppression in America. Participants will develop skills necessary to engage in “courageous” conversations around race relationships and best-practices to promoting principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace.
