Knowing what to do and say in the face of workplace bias, injustices and racism is essential for creating a workplace environment that preserves the psychological safety of all employees.  During this training session, the Learning for Justice framework developed by the Southern Poverty Law Center will be utilized to engage attendees in practical skill building activities to enhance their capacity to diffuse, manage and/or eradicate acts of discrimination that might arise in their respective division or department. In addition, participants will learn and practice an evidence based response protocol developed by the University of Colorado Office of Equity to effectively take “Action” when witnessing or being on the receiving end of microaggressions that can surface within the workplace.
